Privacy Policy

In short: Miles Ahead of Lease collects nothing. It has no account, sends nothing over the internet, and contains no analytics, advertising or tracking. What you enter stays on your device.

What the app stores

Everything you enter is saved on your iPhone or iPad, inside the app's own storage:

Each car's name and lease terms: length, yearly mileage allowance, start date, odometer at delivery and excess cost per mile.
Your odometer readings, their dates and any notes you add.
Your reminder settings.

None of this is sent to me or to anyone else. I can't see it, and there is no copy anywhere except on your device and in your device's own backups (iCloud Backup or a computer backup, if you use them, which Apple handles under its own privacy policy).

What the app sends over the internet

Nothing. The app makes no network connections. The only exception is when you tap Help & Support, Privacy Policy or Website in its Settings: those open this website in Safari, like any link.

Notifications

If you turn on reminders, iOS asks your permission, and the app schedules the monthly reminder and the lease-end reminder on your device. They are local notifications: no push service or server is involved.

Data I collect

None. There are no accounts, analytics, crash-reporting services, advertising identifiers or third-party code in the app. If you choose to email me, I'll see your email address and whatever you write, and use it only to reply.

Deleting your data

In the app, Settings, then Reset to Onboarding erases every car and reading. Deleting the app removes everything it stored.

Children

The app is not aimed at children and collects no information from anyone.

Changes

If the app ever starts handling data differently, this page will change first and show a new date above.
